Ademo, Beau and Pete arrived in Free Grafton yesterday to meet with members of our community and learn why we call it “the place to live free.” Tomorrow we have a full day of activism planned before we chill at Duffy Beach at Kilton Pond starting at 4:20PM. This is the place to meet the crew of Liberty on Tour as they make Free Grafton their first New Hampshire stop during their Free State Friendship Tour.
I’ll be making agorist tacos (3 for $5) and other vendors are welcome and encouraged. Tacos will be available starting at 5PM.
CONCORD, NH – On Tuesday’s episode of Talley.TV, we heard from the Ean Garrett the founder of Free Concord. In this episode we hear from Ian Freeman, the founder of Free Keene as he addressed the crowd at the recent 420 Celebration at the State House. He discussed arraignment outreach, an issue that’s important to a lot of Shire activists.
By encouraging people who have been charged with victimless crimes to refuse a plea deal the State would hopefully have the sense to focus on real crimes, or those where there is an actual victim.
I’m developing a new website for the Civil Disobedience Evolution Fund to focus on the arraignment outreach that is taking place in the Shire and beyond. If you have content suggestions, please let me know in the comments or connect with me elsewhere.
CONCORD, NH — On April 20th around 4:20 PM, over 200 people from all over New Hampshire converged on the the very building where the immoral laws are “created” that turns peaceful pot smokers into criminals.
Equipped with chalk and a camera, Garret Ean was one of those people who showed up to enjoy the 420 celebration and to defend self-ownership. Garrett has been to many events with other Shire activists doing outreach on various topics and has been featured in the two Talley.TV episodes that took place at the State Liquor Cartel (here and here). As Garret points out:
The State is actively selling one drug [liquor] while actively caging people for another safer alternative [cannabis].
Garret started and regularly contributes to FreeConcord.org, a site that covers what’s going on in the city that he’s lived in since the age of 8. He’s a great example of the success that Free State Project participants have had in activating New Hampshire residents to become advocates for “the total ideas liberty” as he puts it.
Most recently the site featured an encounter Garret had with law enforcers who didn’t care for his chalking. Armed with a phone to call the Porc411 service and a knowledge of their laws, the confrontation ended with the police leaving Garret to go about his chalking. Read the post and listen to Garret’s Porc411 call to see how well he handled the police. Like many cases, the police tried to use intimidation but Garret stood his ground.
In the interview, Garret mentions the outcome of the State v. Weeda Claus trial which resulted in Bob Constantine being caged by the State of New Hampshire for growing his own medicine, or “manufacturing a controlled substance” in state-speak. You can send Weeda Claus a letter for free using Mail-to-Jail.
Keep up to date on Ean and his allies as they continue to make the State Capital of Concord, New Hampshire more free at FreeConcord.org.

CONCORD, NH – On April 20th around 4:20 PM, over 200 people from all over New Hampshire converged in and around the State House to protest repugnant prohibitionist policies that continue to be enforced against our friends and neighbors. Some attendees use marijuana for it’s medicinal value. Others see cannabis as a peaceful alternative to the alcohol which the State of New Hampshire sells over $500 million worth every year. Others know victims of the so-called War on Drugs or have heard about peaceful people like Bob “Weeda Claus” Constantine or Nurse Patricia Smith who have been featured in previous episodes of Talley.TV.
Some in the crowd wore Santa hats or carried “Hands off Weeda Claus” signs to show solidarity. Later, the Peaceful Assembly Choir from Free Grafton led the crowd in singing Weeda Clauses Chronic Christmas Carols inside a packed State House Lobby.
By 4:20PM the strong smell of marijuana could be detected throughout the grounds of the State House, yet not a single uniformed officer was there to enforce prohibition at the place where these Draconian laws are made. Instead, good people simply engaged in civil disobedience and no one was harmed. No one other than the out numbered law Enforcers and politicians who must have been embarrassed to see their laws simply ignored by a large number of peaceful people.
While the images of a State House covered in chalk messages encouraging an end to attacks on peaceful pot smokers may shock some, perhaps it will serve as a wakeup call that there are real people being hurt by ongoing government policies. Immoral State actions are causing more and more people to lose faith in elected government and a positive outcome of all this might be that violence committed by State employees will be scrutinized much more closely.
The following photos published to Talley.TV’s page on Facebook reveal some of the signs and chalkings at/on the New Hampshire State House:
