Pete Eyre and Ademo Freeman Discuss their Moral and Legal Victory in Greenfield, MA

GREENFIELD, MA – Surrounded by supporters in front of the Mobile Authority Resistance Vehicle (MARV), Ademo Freeman and Pete Eyre discuss the “NOT GUILTY” verdict that six jurors delivered to disappointed employees of the State.

In a historic decision, jurors sided with the freedom activists over the law enforcers who attacked Pete and Ademo, eventually kidnapping and caging them for video recording. This may lead to more activists beating the system in court as well as in the streets. I’m working on a video where we interview the juror who told the other 5 members of the jury that he would have sat there all day to ensure that Ademo and Pete went free.

Video from the trial will be released soon at Cop Block’s YouTube channel.

The photo below shows some of the 60+ people who showed up on either or both of the two days Pete & Ademo were on trial in Greenfield, MA:

Here’s the live version brought to you by the Civil Disobedience Evolution Fund. You can help us cover our expenses and see more reports from the front lines of freedom with your support.

Ian Freeman: Don’t Take the Plea Deal

CONCORD, NH – On Tuesday’s episode of Talley.TV, we heard from the Ean Garrett the founder of Free Concord. In this episode we hear from Ian Freeman, the founder of Free Keene as he addressed the crowd at the recent 420 Celebration at the State House. He discussed arraignment outreach, an issue that’s important to a lot of Shire activists.

By encouraging people who have been charged with victimless crimes to refuse a plea deal the State would hopefully have the sense to focus on real crimes, or those where there is an actual victim.

I’m developing a new website for the Civil Disobedience Evolution Fund to focus on the arraignment outreach that is taking place in the Shire and beyond. If you have content suggestions, please let me know in the comments or connect with me elsewhere.

The song, State Run Radio is by Lupe Fiasco.

Thanks to Free Keene for sponsoring this report from the front lines of freedom.

420 Celebrants respond to kidnapping by Nashua Law Enforcement (21 May 2010)

NASHUA, NH - With yesterday’s release of video from Free Keene and Talley.TV, edited by Ian Freeman, I thought that now would be a good time to publish the raw footage that I took on May 21st, 2010 at Library Hill in Nashua. Plus the ongoing crackdown against those, like Sovereign Curtis, who are peacefully speaking out against Nashua’s aggressive anti-cannabis actions. It’s been over a year since the events in Nashua so Ian and I had plenty of questions for the undercover law enforcement officers that kidnapped a peaceful 420 celebrant.

Undercover law enforcers DiFava and MacIsaac had to appear in court to testify against Mike Tiner for “disorderly conduct” which you can judge for yourself in the video above (Tiner can be seen 7 minutes in). The trial’s judge, Bamberger refused to rule on motions allowing cameras to record the trial. I have the video and this will be a future episode of Talley.TV.

Speculation: Bamberger didn’t want the undercover law enforcers featured in this video to be YouTube stars because their job relies on them blending in with the general public so that they can arrest people when they do one of the numerous acts banned by various governments. What’s not speculation is that Judge Bamberger, like law enforcers DiFava and MacIsaac, work for the government. No wonder Tiner didn’t stand a chance and was found guilty.

It is very likely that individuals employed by the Nashua Police Department reviewed video I captured as well as the many videos taken by Shire Independent Media to identify people who they believe interfered with their kidnapping. The Nasua Telegraph reported a month after the police aggression:

Nashua police used YouTube and help from other area police departments to arrest two more people involved in a large protest of marijuana laws on Library Hill last month.

As an eye witness to the events on Library Hill and would like to go on the record that DiFava and MacIsaac are the real criminals for kidnapping a young man who, along with many others, was celebrating 4:20 on a beautiful day. In order to enforce the law, they broke the peace and had no business putting peaceful people in chains that day. Justice was not served but that isn’t what matters to State employees as they wage their war on drugs, which is of course a war against people. Many of whom are peaceful.

A year+ ago I reported on the events of the day at Fr33 Agents in addition to publishing the raw video:

Today I witnessed a 4:20 Celebration for the first time up close, although I have seen them many times on YouTube. Like many of the 4:20 celebrants, I am attending the 2010 Liberty Forum in Nashua, New Hampshire. Earlier today at 4:20 PM a lot of fans of freedom gathered at a park in Nashua, NH. Some of them smoked marijuana, a plant has been deemed “illegal” in the United States as part of a larger “War on Drugs.” Others just smoked cigarettes or enjoyed a beautiful afternoon in New Hampshire.

That is until two undercover cops put a pair of handcuffs on a local Nashua resident, Lewis. These two large white men claimed to be from the Nashua Police Department despite one of them wearing a Boston Red Socks Jersey. Lewis, a young black man, was placed in their police car to the shock of the other peaceful participants, many of them wearing balloon hats and holding signs. Cameras immediately turned their attention to the crimes against this young man by these alleged Nashua Police Department employees.

Like many, David Krause didn’t like what these two men were doing. That’s when he took action. David sat down in front of the police car. When they tried to remove him he went limp. That’s when these two men illustrated the true nature of government by using force against David. They dragged him away from the group and were threatening him with mace. Catherine Bleish was soon arrested for being on the street advocating the release of Lewis and David.

I’m not sure if he was attempting to physically take it from her but there was definitely physical contact and her arm was red. She yelled out “You’re hurting me.” She was able to pass off her camera to someone else before they put her in the car.

She yelled out “You’re hurting me” as a German Shepard barked at the participants of the once peaceful event. At this point some estimate a government response of 15 Nashua Police Officers.

At one point one of the police officers frantically yelled out “He’s got a gun! He’s got a gun! He’s got a gun!” in reference to one individual, like many, open-carrying. There were several folks carrying and it is legal in the state of New Hampshire. The only people harming others were wearing badges given to them by the government of Nashua, New Hampshire.

The police left the scene and the one time 4:20 celebrants headed to their vehicles to drive to the Nashua, New Hampshire Police Department Headquarters where we were told that their friends were being held.

To be continued.

Emperor Evan’s 2nd Wave Civil Disobedience

Ian Freeman, a fellow director of the Civil Disobedience Evolution Fund, had some nice things to say about Evan (pictured on the right with me and Bob “Weeda Claus” Constantine) at Free Keene.com to accompany a Liberty of Tour video featuring the Free Grafton Emperor:

If the first wave of liberty-lovers doing civil disobedience were people like Russell and Kat Kanning and Lauren Canario, with six heroic arrests under his belt, Evan Pierce may be the most prolific disobedient/noncooperative of the “second wave”. (New waves are necessary as each person can only take so many charges before life gets far more difficult, due to multiple convictions.) Evan’s actions are always very inspiring, as you will surely see. Evan moved to New Hampshire a few years ago from Austin, Texas and immediately jumped into the world of civil disobedience and noncooperation. This video covers his recent arrest at Grafton superior court for wearing a paper hat as well a prior arrest in Keene for smoking cannabis during Pumpkin Fest. Evan is one of the bravest activists in New Hampshire. If you love freedom, whether you are interested in civil disobedience, street theatre, media or politics, you should follow his advice in this video and move to New Hampshire! (courtesy Liberty on Tour):

In addition to being my Free Grafton neighbor Evan and I are fellow members of the Peaceful Assembly Choir. We met during my tour with the Motorhome Diaries and were both part of the Liberty Caravan to New Hampshire in 2009.

Chalking Continues at NH State House 4/20 Celebration Despite Threats

CONCORD, NH – Over 200 people appeared at the New Hampshire State House to remind politicians and law enforcement that they have zero say in what peaceful people do with their bodies.  Ian Freeman, a CD Evolution director had this to say at FreeKeene.com:

Despite it being 40 degrees out with a good chance of rain, over 250 people gathered peacefully to consume cannabis and celebrate personal freedom in hopes that the government aggressors will stop their violence against peaceful cannabis users. The demonstrators even walked through the state house, stopping in the lobby to sing songs about freedom and then traveling upstairs to attempt to visit the man calling himself “governor”, who had either escaped out the back door or was “in a meeting”. It was an amazing day! The police, as with last year, did nothing more than watch from afar! The state blinks again!!! Listen to tonight’s Free Talk Live for more detail on some of what went down.

Shire Independent Media Producer “Biker” Bill released the following videos from yesterday’s 4:20 Celebration in and around the New Hampshire State House:
