In my previous post I mentioned that I attended a panel discussion at CPAC that focused on foreign policy. Gene Healy of the Cato Institute was also there and it was the topic of his weekly column in The DC Examiner yesterday.

Healy is of the impression that conservatives still favor the aggressive foreign policy of the Bush years, “…judging by the crowd at CPAC, which gave Gaffney most of the applause, and cheered for every bellicose line in straw-poll winner Mitt Romney’s speech [pictured above].”
According to Healy, unless conservatives wake up on the foreign policy issue, it could continue to cost them electorally in the future.
