The Peaceful Assembly Choir Makes it’s Debut Performance at the State House

Sings Against Prohibition and tells State “Hands off Weeda Claus”

CONCORD, NH – On the 5th of November, about 40 Shire Activists answered Rich Paul’s call to “Remember, Remember Disobey in December” at the New Hampshire State House. This included the newly formed Peaceful Assembly Choir from Free Grafton. Members, including myself, sang from the holiday themed “Weeda Claus’s Chronic Christmas Carols” by Sam A. Robrin.

The choir hopes to release MP3s and go on tour during this holiday season. Stops may include the offices, homes and neighborhoods of the individuals waging the war on peaceful people over drugs. We hope to spread holiday cheer along with the message that the good people of the Shire will no longer tolerate the caging of their peaceful friends and neighbors because they’d prefer to smoke a plant rather than buy the much more harmful liquor from the State.

The choir and I need a lot of practice so we meet every Thursday at 7PM at the Peaceful Assembly Church. All are welcome and encouraged to join us. Even if you can’t make choir practice you are still welcome to join in on the caroling. As Russell Kanning would say, “it’s fun!”

Signs read from the 5th of November’s 420 Celebration included  ”Government is Organized Crime,” “End Prohibition Again,” “Caging Peaceful People is Wrong,” and “Shake Your Chains,” a reference to Rich Paul’s defiant statement to Keene District Court’s Judge Burke who asked what Paul thought about the amount of bail imposed for his victimless crime. “If You’re Happy and you Know it… Shake your Chains” was Paul’s response while shaking his shackles to a furious judge who then doubled the bail.

Stay tuned for Thursday’s Episode of Talley.TV to see and hear the choir’s debut and the rest of the celebration.

Followup: Former Corrections Officer Loses Faith in Justice System After Daughter’s Medical Marijuana Conviction

After interviewing Nurse Patricia, Talley.TV, Bob Constantine (aka Weeda Claus) and Anton Lee of Shire Photography met with her mother, Rita Richards. In this episode of Talley TV, Mrs. Richards shares the letter she wrote and sent to the Judge in the State vs Patricia Smith trial. Disappointed, she believes that the judge has never even read it.

Mrs. Richards provides an interesting perspective because she was a “corrections” officer for the State of New Hampshire for 15 years. She admits that while she was doing her job, many of the people in the cages she oversaw were there for victimless drug-related crimes. When asked how this made her feel knowing that her daughter faces the same punishment for harming no one, Rita admitted that she felt confused.

Mrs. Richards also provides insight into the type of person Nurse Patricia is: a good person who hasn’t harmed anyone. The same can not be said of the cops that raided Nurse Patricia’s home, stealing her money and property, or the prosecutor and judge who will ensure that a peaceful person remains a hostage of the State for years as part of their ongoing war on people who use drugs. Drugs like marijuana but not liquor which the State of New Hampshire sells exclusively at a rate of $500 million a year.

Free Grafton’s Bob Constantine to be caged by New Hampshire for growing a plant

Known by his Free Grafton neighbors as “Solar” Bob, today’s featured victim of the State’s War on Drugs makes it clear that he will not be silenced.

Bob was arrested for growing plants the State of New Hampshire deems illegal. This is the same state that sells encourages the consumption of $500 million worth of alcohol every year.

Most victims of State aggression get a lawyer and keep their head down as they navigate what some still call a “justice” system. Not Bob. Instead, he is teaming up with Talley.TV and Shire Photography to talk to other victims of State violence.

Bob will also continue to join other Shire Activists to “redress grievances” at State Liquor Stores and other locations around the State. He has two more months of freedom until the State puts him in one of their cages this December so Bob is going to do his part to finally end this war on peaceful people over drugs.

After much speculation, Bob Constantine has also finally decided to be public about the fact that yes he is in fact Weeda Claus who lives in Free Grafton.

The implications of the State attempting to cage a kind and peaceful man who is a friend to many in Free Grafton remains unclear but Talley.TV will be following this story until there is justice.
