Get paid to cover Civil Disobedience

One of the ways the Civil Disobedience Evolution Fund supports the good people who disobey bad laws is to help spread the word about the brave acts of non-compliance that take place in New Hampshire. There are many different ways you can help us cover civil disobedience in the Shire and here are a few examples:

Blog posts

  • Up to $25 per blog post. We’re most interested in first hand reports from trials, acts of civil disobedience or other forms of non-compliance. We will also publish blog posts on the history and philosophy of civil disobedience.

Live reporting

Let others know what is happening in near real-time.

  • Up to $25 per day
  • via CD Evolution’s accounts on TwitterFacebook, etc.

Photos

Abelardo Gonzalez got paid $10 for this photo of Evan Pierce smoking in front of an unamused law enforcer.

  • Up to $10 per photo capturing an act of civil disobedience. Less for coverage of trials.

Video

  • Up to $100
  • Run a 30 second CD Evolution advertisement.
  • Have footage that you don’t want to edit? No problem. We will pay for raw footage of civil disobedience, non-compliance, relevant trials and more.

The rate of pay will be based on timeliness, quality, and other factors. If you’d like to contribute media to CD Evolution and get paid, please contact talleytv@gmail.com or post on our Facebook page.

So far we’ve provided grants to some very talented independent media creators like Meg McLain, Stephanie Murphy, Abelardo Gonzalez, Anton Lee and others who provide coverage of the good people who disobey bad laws. All rates are negotiable by either party and prices listed should be used as a guide.

The Civil Disobedience Evolution Fund is able to pay for content thanks to the generous contributions from our supporters. If you’d like to support the coverage of civil disobedience and non-cooperation please consider donating today.
